A subtle mix of different musical styles has always been the strength of Counter The Eulogy. This will continue to be true as the songs confront the listener with messages, feelings and an attitude to life in contrast to serving stereotypes.

BIOGRAPHY

2016
In October 2016 Matthias Schriebl finally completed the band again as the new bass player.

2016
September 2016 saw the release of the debut album Transitions. It is available at all major digital distributors. The physical CD became available from the beginning of October.

2016
At the beginning of 2016 Matthias Fibrich had to leave the band and the search for a bassist started again.

2013
In fall 2013 the unexpected happened – the band was complete again with Matthias Fibrich and Stefan Wedenig and changed it’s name to Counter The Eulogy.

2013
After several unsuccessful tries to revive Handmade85 in its original form, Markus Orthaber and Stefan Schaffer decided to try a new start. The search for new members on bass and drums began in July 2013.

2006
After two successful years and nearly 20 shows the band arrived at a turning point – due to personal reasons of the members Handmade85 was placed on hold.

2004
Four musicians meet and instantly something great arises. Handmade85 was born.

BAND

MARKUS ORTHABER
Vocalist and lyricist of Counter The Eulogy. Found in good voice behind the microphone; mostly with an electric sometimes also with an acoustic guitar. As owner of a recording studio Markus is responsible for CTE’s productions.

STEFAN SCHAFFER
Leadguitar and backing vocals are the main competences of Stefan. He is also the band’s own graphic designer and photographer.

MATTHIAS SCHRIEBL
As bassist the guy for the tonal foundation in the band.

STEFAN WEDENIG
The loudest member of CTE. Responsible for the right grooves and rythmic coherence.
